We purchased "Solanos Lilchickadee" aka "Chic" in Dec. 2006 after almost 18 months of negotiations from Brian & Vicki Braun of the Braun Ranch in Beechy Sask. Canada. Brian & Vicki were the owners of Canadian Legend & World Champion Sire "Solanos Peppy San" now deceased. "Chic" is a very special addition to our broodmare band in that the first year of showing in Reining, Vicki rode her to over $5,000.00 in earnings in Cardston, Red Deer & Moose Jaw Futurities. Brian then took over the following year & believed that she could make it in the cutting arena as well where she went on to win another $1,500.00 in cutting earnings. It is very rare that a reining horse can go cutting which proves her to be a very special mare of which we r very proud to own a daughter of a Canadian Legacy "Solanos Peppy San" To quote Brian "She May Be The Best Mare That We Ever Raised" is truly a testament to "Chic" & the reason that it took 18 months for us to pry her from their program.
